How you doin’ Roger,,,,,Marcia and I have been trying to shop at trader Joe’s lately, at laest a little more healthy than Meijers. So can those wonderful blueberries be frozen or does that remove the nutritional value? othe fruits as well,,,,,,, Hey were going to the girls basketball game tonite at bgsu. Rick and his wife are big fans.
    Catch you later.

    Hey Roger,
If it does it’s not much. I think freezing alters it slightly but studies show that frozen fruit sometimes has more nutrition than fresh. To freeze fruit for packaging and resell it has to be done immediately so the fruit doesn’t have time to deteriorate. Fresh fruit can be sitting for days or even weeks before you eat it. Just don’t buy too many when you go there because that’s where I get mine—6 bags at a time. Try the wild blueberries sometime. They are a little cheaper than the organic and actually picked wild so they aren’t sprayed.

    Hi Roger,
Our group really enjoyed all the information from you at Lexington on Feb. 21.
On the way home we were talking about the brain and choline. Where is choline and how do we get it?
And now I know why our blueberries weren’t working for our brain. We always put them in our protein shake with milk & yogurt!
We weren’t at Trader Joe’s today, but we did pick up the large bag of frozen Dole’s wild Blueberries. Will NOT put them in our shake.
    Thanks for all your help.
